Pre-Surgical Instructions

No food after 12:00 AM (Midnight) the night prior to surgery. Water is ok.
Bring all vaccine records to your appointment if they’ve been seen at another veterinarian. We must have proof of vaccines if we are not administering them here.
Drop off for cats is between 7:00am – 7:30am. Please make sure your cat comes in a carrier; if you’re bringing multiple cats, they must be in separate carriers.
Drop off for dogs is between 7:30am – 8:00am. Please make sure your dog comes in on a leash.
Pick up for dogs is between 2:30pm – 4:30pm, and for cats is between 3:00 – 4:30pm. If your pet is not picked up prior to the Clinic’s closing time of 5:00pm, we may send your pet to a boarding facility, and you will be held responsible for all additionally acquired fees.
If you requested any additional services for your pet during check-in, or there are any additional charges accrued during surgery, you will be responsible for the balance during check-out when you pick up your pet. We accept cash and all major cards, including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

The Monroe Low-Cost Spay and Neuter Clinic will, at minimal cost, treat any post-surgical complications resulting directly from surgery if the above post-surgical instructions are followed in full. We cannot be held responsible for complications resulting from failure to follow post-surgical instructions, or for contracting contagious diseases for which your pet was not previously properly vaccinated. Your regular veterinarian must address illnesses or injuries that are not a direct result of surgery.
